Sweet, Savoury, Cinnamon Buns!

I don’t know about you, but I used to completely toss recipes as soon as I noticed the line “Let rise for 2 hours”. There’s something so dissapointing when you’re craving a certain sweet and you realize that you won’t be eating it any time soon. But yesterday I decided to not be so lazy and let it rise! And am I ever happy that I did. These cinnabons were absolutely delicious and well worth the work and the wait. Try them out and let me know what you think!

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 1/2 cups (or more) unbleached all purpose flour, divided
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons rapid-rise yeast (from 2 envelopes yeast)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

I thought that this recipe was simple and easy to follow.

Tip: Make sure you have a lot of free time for this project. As well as lots of counter space and patience 🙂
